Lynn Marvin Nesbitt b. 13 May 1924 Washington, DC d. 08 Sep 1967 Montgomery Co., Maryland
Lynn Marvin is the son of William Lovejoy and Minnie Ruth Fuller. He married Marcella Mae Leckness 22 May 1949. They have five children, Marcia, Karen, John, Robert and Ruth. Over the years I was told I was named for my Uncle Lynn, but I never knew who that was. With doing genealogy, I have connected with many of the Nesbitt family and now know who he is. His daughter Karen and her husband Gary will be joining us for the Shaff family reunion. I can’t wait to meet them in person.

Charlotte Saylor b. 05 May 1934 in New York
Charlotte is the wife of Eska Freeman Shaff grandson of Eska Shaff and Nellie Beard. Charlotte and Eska have 3 children, Paul, Barb and Bonnie. We spent many times together when all of us kids were growing up. She and Eska are retired and divide there time between FL and NY.
Arnold Lloyd Mahnke b. 13 May 1928 Medina, Orleans Co., NY
Arnold is the son of Harold Charles Mahnke and Eva Amelia Shaff. Eva is the sister of Eska Shaff. Arnold married Betty Ann Kennedy 18 May 1956 and they have 4 children, Arnold, Cheryl, Lou Ellen and Patricia.
Nancy Jo Mahnke b. 13 May 1954 Medina, Orleans Co., NY
Nancy Jo is the daughter of Arthur Harold Mahnke and Freda May Fizette. Arthur is the son of Harold Charles Mahnke and Eva Amelia Shaff. Eva is the sister of Eska Shaff. Nancy Jo married Joseph Doman Graton 20 Sep 1980 Niagara Falls, NY. They have 2 children Katie Jo and Arthur.
Evelyn Ferry b. 15 May abt. 1915
Evelyn is the daughter of Hiram Caldwell Ferry and Lena Brimmer. Lena is the daughter of Charles Brimmer and Rudy Roe. Rudy is the daughter of John E. Roe and Lois Shaff. Lois is the grandmother of Eska Shaff making Evelyn his 2nd cousin 2x removed. Nothing else is know about Evelyn.
Daisy Lee Shaff b. 15 May 1958 Ithaca, Tompkins Co., NY
Daisy is the daughter of Ralph Shaff and Bessie Smith. Ralph Shaff is the son of Eska Shaff and Nellie Beard. Daisy married Louis Mikula 17 Apr 1976 and they have 2 sons, Bryon and Nicholas. She currently is living in FL.
Angela Ellen Watson b. 15 May 1990 Medina, Orleans Co., NY
Angela is the daughter of James Watson and Cheryl Louise Mahnke. Cheryl is the daughter of Arnold Lloyd Mahnke and Betty Ann Kennedy. Arnold is the son of Harold Charles Mahnke and Eva Amelia Shaff. Eva is the sister of Eska Shaff. This makes Angela great grand niece of Eska Shaff.
Lois Brimmer b. 16 May 1895 Farmington Twsp. Tioga Co., PA d. 05 Oct 1957 Corning, NY
Lois is the daughter of Charles Brimmer and Rudy Roe. Rudy Roe is the daughter of John E. Roe and Lois Shaff. Lois Shaff is the grand mother of Eska Shaff. Lois is 2nd cousin 2x removed to Eska. Lois married Laverne Mapes. I don’t have any information on children.
Clifford Leroy Allen b. 15 May 1917 Hartland, Niagara Co., NY d. 24 Oct 1998 Middleport, Niagara, Co., NY
Clifford is the husband of Elizabeth Lavina Mahnke. There were married 28 Mar 1937 Middleport United Methodist Church, Middleport, Niagara Co., NY. They have 3 children. Howard, Harold, Paul and Carol Ann. Elizabeth is the daughter of Harold Charles Mahnke and Eva Amelia Shaff. Eva is the sister of Eska Shaff.

Elizabeth "Anne" (Betty) Rafferty b. 11 May 1923
Anne married Harvey Gordan Teeter on March 11 unknown years. Harvey was the son of William Hymes Teeter brother of Merrill Fred Teeter. Not much is known of her and Harvey. I’m not sure if they had any children or not.
Kimberly Ann Teeter b. 11 May 1972 Ithaca, NY
Kim is the daughter of Gary Teeter and Patricia White, with Gary being the son of Howard and Betty Teeter and Howard being the son of Merrill Fred Teeter. Kim is married to Chris Page and has 5 children, Brittany, Nicholas, Amberlee, Lauren and Grace Alisabeth. They currently live in NC.
Maria Catherine Teeter b. 11 May 1776 Knowlton, Sussex, NJ d. 19 May 1855
Marie Catherine was the daughter of Jacob Teeter who was the son of Conradt Teetor. Marie Catherine married Jesse Allen 25 Feb 1796 but little else is known about her. She is 1st cousin 4x removed to Merrill Fred Teeter.
Elias P. Teeter b. 13 May 1783 in PA
Elias is the son of Joseph Peter Teeter and Margaret Rice. Joseph Peter is the 4th child of Conradt Teetor and Marie Catharine Weber. He married Prudence Knapp 24 Dec 1823. They had 6 children from 1826 – 1843, William, Andrew, Eunice, Charles, Louisa and Emily. He is 1st cousin 4x removed to Merrill Fred Teeter. Elias and family are shown starting in 1830 Federal Census living in Lansing, NY as a farmer.
Frances Eve Teeter b. 13 May 1855 d. 1910
Frances Eve was the daughter of George W. Teeter and Matida E. Hagin of Lansing, NY. George is the son of Henry Teeter II and Wynche Sly. She married Rodolphus Miller of Lansing, NY and the 1900 Federal Census shows them living in Lansing with son Ivan age 21. It is unknown at this time if they had other children. Frances is 2nd cousin 2x removed to Merrill.
William Henry Little b. 14 May 1926 d. 25 Oct 1998 Jacksonville, NC
William Henry Little is the husband of Marguerite Teeter. Marguerite is the daughter of Merrill Fred Teeter and Florence Bell Davenport. Uncle Bill has one son David and one daughter Pam. He was retired Marine staying in Jacksonville NC after his retirement. You could always depend on him for some ingenious invention. He collected fossil’s from the coast and was very proud of his collection.
Peter Teeter b. 15 May 1894 New York
Peter is the son of John Putnam Teeter and Alice Vanatta. John Putman is the son of George Teeter and Caroline Grover. George and Caroline are grand parents to Merrill Fred Teeter making Peter 1st cousin to him. He married Julia and had 2 children Fanny and Zarah. Peter and Julia are shown in the 1920 Federal Census living in Newfield, NY and in the 1930 Federal Census living in Lansing, NY.
Mary Snow b. 17 May 1916 Slaterville, NY d. 06 Sep 2000 Cortland, Cortland Co., NY
Mary was the wife of Glenn William Teeter. Glenn is the son of William Hymes Teeter and Anna Louise White. William Hymes is the brother of Merrill Fred Teeter making Mary niece in law to him. They married 05 Sep 1933 and had 3 children, Elizabeth, Gordon and Russell.
Howard Arthur Teeter b. 17 May 1929 Ithaca, Tompkins Co., NY
Howard is the son of Merrill Fred Teeter and Florence Bell Davenport. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Slaught in May 1948 and will be celebrating there 60th wedding anniversary this year. They have 4 children, Kathy, Gary, Gail and Wendy. The have several grand children and great grand children. Howard worked before his retirement for the family painting business. There wasn’t anyone better than the Teeter family for painting and wall papering.
